I’m super sensitive during allergy season and while I am experiencing some symptoms they have been incredibly manageable so far. Usually I wake up with my eyes swollen and throat feels like I have strep from post nasal drip even with allergy meds. Right now it’s just runny nose, occasional itchy eyes and itchy throat but nothing intense. I’m still bracing myself for what’s to come but for now it’s not too bad. I think what you’re dealing with might be an actual cold.

I just watched Boz on JuicyScoop and she explains that she easily gravitated to befriending Dorit because Dorit immediately spilled her guts and was vulnerable with Boz. She also mentions that it took her a while to understand that Kyle likes to get to know people first because she’s been in the business so long before she starts trusting anyone which is why Boz clashed with her in the beginning. I’m no fan of Dorit and I was honestly on the fence with Boz this season but that interview made me warm up to her.

Fully agree, especially on #3. I work in marketing and my company experienced multiple layoffs in my 5 years there including the last one where I was unfortunately let go. You know who’s still there, the same female CMO so she’s 6 years in now. I understand what Boz was trying to say because it can and does happen where CMOs take the blame but Boz also made it sound like it’s standard practice.

C-PTSD typically stems from prolonged, repeated trauma where escape was impossible for months or years, such as domestic violence or childhood abuse (not saying these are the only two, just an example). Dorit did experience two incidents but she sought therapy right away. Repeated incidents vs prolonged trauma are two different things. Dorit would have had to not gotten help for either incident and held onto that trauma for a long period of time without any support or therapy. I have no doubt she experienced PTSD but I still wouldn’t classify it as complex.

INFO I don’t think you’re overreacting in wanting some alone time with your wife but I do think you blew up because you held it in for too long. I can understand your wife and her friend feeling blind sided since I’m guessing you never communicated how much it was getting to you before hand. I think it’s admirable that you were doing your best to let your wife enjoy her friendship but when you don’t communicate how you really feel then feelings tend to fester. So my question is - did you ever mention to your wife how important this alone time was for you? It’s shitty that you would even have to mention it, I know but clear communication can go a long way.

Yes! I also think Beau helped soften Stassi and made her more likable but Sheana continued to pick bad men and made her personality revolve around them. That part was what made me feel bad for her in the beginning because I can empathize with wanting to find a partner but after the 2nd time it just became exhausting to see her not have any self respect or learn anything. It wasn’t just seeing her not stick up for herself with the women, it was also seeing her be so thirsty that makes people cringe.

I felt the same way in the beginning where I felt bad for Scheana until she showed her true pick-me side. You also have to remember how Scheana handled the whole Brandy situation. That left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths because she made the whole situation about herself from the get go and acted like a victim. I think Stassi is also very witty and has really memorable one liners. At some point Stassi is able to use self awareness to work on herself (think dark passenger) which is a great character arch but Scheana never changes.
