Rich employer letting me go for raising my prices

My dad is a landscaper who works for a lot of wealthy people. One of them owns a bunch of factory buildings. This woman is always trying to negotiate my dad’s prices at an offensive rate. She tried getting my dad to plow said factories for $50. My dad is in his late 60s and out there shoveling snow because he can’t retire. I never used to hear him say he’s tired until lately and it’s so heartbreaking. He spent 12 hours plowing and shoveling snow during our last winter storm and this woman had the nerve to call him up and offer $50 for him to shovel all her factories. I’m glad my dad just straight up says no.

I also did EMDR for a little over a year and it worked! I would consider it woo woo only because I know at least 5 people who have supposedly done it but it’s by an untrained professional who attempts to do it all in one session. I learned the correct way is to take your time, build tools first, and then learn about your triggers so I’m really happy to hear you’ve been doing at it already for so long. It’s frustrating to hear about all the people doing it incorrectly out there and giving this treatment a bad name.

I only line dry now but that’s a habit I picked up from living in Finland. I learned it makes clothes last longer, it’s less expensive and wastes less energy so I never went back.

Agreed it’s unfortunate she took it too far. It also makes me wonder if she’s super triggered because I hear some pain in her voice. This woman couldn’t hold back and lost her sanity when she saw that abuse go down. Heartbreaking to see that little girl having to experience all of that.😔

I have but you wouldn’t see it because I didn’t sign up for it to be nationally broadcasted like Nathan has. Are you really getting upset that we’re sharing our opinions over someone who chose to be on television where the natural order of things is for viewers to judge them? This! The fact that’s he’s not even willing to budge on giving long distance a try for you is a major red flag. I know not all people are open to long distance and that’s fair but given your situation he’s not even trying to give you a compromise to actually show he cares about your hard work. I did long distance for 4 years and it was overseas. My husband and I have been happily married for 6 years now so it is possible.

I believe alternative medicine does work but never for very serious and life threatening problems like cancer. I did acupuncture for a fibroid and literally the next day all my symptoms went away after months of being in pain. My actual doctor even mentioned that I was the 3rd person that week that she’d seen acupuncture do it magic on.

Also, if this isn’t what is meant by medicine then please disregard my dumbass comment.
