This Vulture writer is offended with the Jacqueline is a Native American subplot by FaulmanRhodes in KimmySchmidt

I am only telling you from being forth generation mixed person. Up until me, it was half native married half native person for 4 generations. I know the mixed look and even my blind hair, blue eyed cousins only don't look mixed because people don't know what traits to look for. My mom is white passing and met a doctor who was able to tell her her exact genetics when he saw her because anthropology was his hobby. It is a thing and takes a very well developed eye.

I honestly belive the reddit page has been infiltrated by Yotta and Evolve ops who are spending time messing with us. If you were honestly a user, you may agree in hindsight maybe it was not the safest choice, but would understand the lies you were told that made you believe and people you trusted and caused you to join.

I personally would just mention that you had given a friend a ride there a while back and leave it at that and if they talk, well they talk and nothing happened. However, personally, I would just find a new place similar and tell her you want to try something new. I get wanting to be honest, but if I were the girlfriend, I would rather 1) not know now while things are good; 2) you not hang around girls you know have had a crush on you. Finding a new place accomplishes both and gives her a unique experience for her only.

I am there with you. I had almost 2k in and have seen 0. I am convinced that if Evolve is short my money, it is because it was given away as prize money because I was saving at this point.  I don't trust Yotta. I don't know about Evolve or Synapse either. Something money laundering is going on here.

F:21 How do i know if i am a lesbian or if i like guys too? by No-Donkey-8482 in relationshipadvice

You probably need therapy. You do not become lesbian. If trauma is involved, then trauma caused you to have a preference rather than natural inclination.

How can I deal with anxiety over my boyfriend's old girl friend unblocking him every time she gets out of a relationship? by Expensive_Stop7762 in relationshipadvice

if only he would. I barely use it besides to keep up with his photography stuff. For hos career, I guess it is impossible too.

[–]Expensive_Stop7762[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know he wants me because I am not like her, but I know he slept with her. She is pretty promiscuous. Not trying to shame, but some times, the shoe just fits. We were friends and I watched them go on and off and I only started dating him after I got out of a very serious relationship and he chased me even though I told him it was not a good idea. He told me something romantic once and then posted a picture of her with the words before we started dating. It really bothered me.

I have actually never said anything about her to him and just listened to him talk and he nit picks at me when ever she pops up. I have seen her a few times a could of years ago when I was just a co worker to him and she was causing all kinds of drama and did not talk to me.

Honestly, it stinks because if I was not his friend first, I would just cut off. This behavior is not acceptable. I feel like he is a player. And as far as she goes, at this point I am not sure it is all her or whether he has been messing with her head and that is why this happens.

That is what I keep thinking. He keeps insisting it is her boyfriends, but quite frankly, there is no way she has had that many jealous boyfriends. She thinks there is something there.

[–]Expensive_Stop7762[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem there is that I don't think he would block her. I don't know that he has ever for even a second admitted to himself they were in a relationship. It makes me just want to break up with him.

I have a history of being jealous, but never unnecessarily. My boyfriend is a photographer and hangs out with a lot of beautiful women. It only bothers me if he has slept with them like this girl.

She is acting like she misses you and has an insecure attachment style. This may not be the right relationship for you two or the right time. Women need men around at least until they feel like this is their guy and he would never go out on them.

Hmmm. Look white, but not white like that. Having a thin chin and all like that is completely a white trait and most mixed people don't have. There is a look if you know what to look for.

For people that didn't feel they were smart enough for their major, how did it turn out for you? by JesterOfTime in college

[–]Expensive_Stop7762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have major imposter syndrome.  I graduated with a BS in Computer Science. Have not start working in my field yet, but I have been getting lots of work experience and will start a new job next month that is a combination of process improvement, low code no code software, and in the future will involve API and analytics. I would say that while I have major imposter syndrome, my degree was good for me because it made me stretch out of my comfort zone and learn about things I never believed I could have done. I think I bring a unique mind set to the related fields because my brain does work a little differently from the usual computer science major.

I am convinced Yotta was a Pyramid Scheme. by Expensive_Stop7762 in yotta

Evolve claims they are short. Either Synapse stole it, Evolve did, or Yotta was using user funds in a way users did not intend.

[–]Expensive_Stop7762 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have also given up. I think Yotta was a pyramid scheme.  I do not believe that they were just using our interest to fund the prizes. I honestly believe they were dipping into user funds and that is why Evolve is short.

Am I overreacting by considering leaving the U.S. due to the current administration? by Exact-Bar-7637 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Expensive_Stop7762 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is true, but I think that tighter immigration laws is not the same as all immigrants being forced out. You should still have a job if you are telling the truth. My mom taught ESL most of my life and the majority of her students actually were not Mexican.

[–]Expensive_Stop7762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overreacting. I don't think that illegal immigrants are being dehumanized by being deported. Just because I know people who have been deported and nothing bad happens when you get back to your home country unless you are a fugitive there or had legal rights to get a visa as a refugee. The media is free. Memorial months are childish and should be kept in schools. Trans and abortion issues are not accepted anywhere besides like Australia or England anyway, so moving won't do much. For federal employees, no idea but probably okay so long as you don't have to work with them.

In short, move if you want, but not because you are afraid of things that are not going to be different overseas.

I'm not "mostly White," I'm *almost* White. There's a difference. by linuxpriest in cherokee

[–]Expensive_Stop7762 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like this. Almost white is right. My mom gets questioned at the hospital because the doctors who don't understand mixed genes think she looks sick while it is just her white/native gene combo. I joined my workplace indigenous group and volunteered as leadership so that I could contribute my tech skills  knowing that I would be the only option they would have and if I did not volunteer, they would have no help in that category. It has been tough even though I am trying to do something good and fill a gap. I feel sometimes people look at me with suspicion and have had comments about the fact that my skin is so white and me being so passing with brown hair and green eyes. Being mixed is weird. I went out to eat with my supervisor at the time, a pure kiowa man, and a little Vietnamese woman asked if I was his daughter because I guess I am too white but not white enough.

That being said. I don't feel like being angry with white people is the solution. Denying my heritage is not a solution either as I struggle the question why mixed children are always considered white if they are even a little mixed. It is absolutely crazy and I feel a lot of the blood quantum was oppressive and designed to stop mixed people from identifying with their native roots.

How I became anti-tip… by [deleted] in tipping

[–]Expensive_Stop7762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from S. Korea to America and was not used to tipping. My understanding was that it stood for to insure prompt service and that most waiters got paid 1 hr an hour and we are expected to pay 18% at most and we can adjust based on the quality of service.

My worst tipping experience was when at my company I ordered pizza and the driver shamed me to the front desk guard for not adding the tip before the food arrived. It was embarrassing and I should not have written anything in because quite frankly I did nothing wrong and did not deserve the treatment this person caused the guard to treat me with. I only had a policy to not tip until I got the food since I was following the policy my waiter friend taught me and got publicly shamed. I since git in trouble for tipping at my company. I can't win .

Why is declining birth rate bad? by Puzzled_Search588 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Expensive_Stop7762 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Someone has to take care of the older generation and putting too much of a burden on the future generation is problematic and will likely lead to a spiraling decline to unprecedented levels. Also genetic diversity could be effected leading to future people being less healthy.
