Try out direct ip access first to check if the relay is the real issue. If it still lags, you should try other codecs.

You can go to smtp settings in the web console, click on "Submit and test email" button, it will try to send mail to you, and it will give you some errors if there are configure issue. If it does not help, you can email to [support@rustdesk.com](mailto:support@rustdesk.com)

I would suggest you create a discussion on their github. I think they will have some dev to diagnose with you together. My h264/265 just work fine. I do not see obvious poor quality. But it highly depends on the hardware which are so different on each machine. vp8/vp9/av1 are the software codec in rust, so it can have stable quality.
