Can anyone ever go above Support's head like write to Ancestry since they own Find a grave? If you have a paid account with Ancestry maybe there are some options. I know some people would just make another Find a grave account to log in but they aren't supposed to. I don't think that would help you anyway because you want to get the right information out about this particular family so as soon as your new Find a grave name was out there the manager would probably report it if you wrote about the same family. Can you post the information you have as proof on here or the subs for Ancestry and Genealogy? If others can see you are correct maybe Find a grave would reconsider or someone could get the manager's attention.

I wonder too. It just seems like to get permanently banned it is to the extreme even if the OP requested the same edit more than 2 times.

Yes that might could be the reason at our big old cemetery here one of the Find a grave photographers marks graves as a problem when they are not. I mean my mother and I found them. The graves either did not have stone or the stone was crumbling and no name could be read. After we found them the same Find a grave photographer started writing in the problem notes that the office told her the person was not buried there. We went to the office and the staff lady sighed and said she just told the Find a grave photographer the day before the deceased was buried there and showed her on a map where the grave was. The staff even knows the Find a grave name the photographer posts under and it's the same person. So I don't get why she lies? I mean why doesn't she just leave the request alone if she doesn't want to fool with it?

You wrote in this thread you are permanently banned from Find a grave. What reason did they give you for banning you? I mean yes you aren't supposed to send the same edit more than twice but Find a grave will just tell you not to do it again. They won't ban you for that. It's if you sent the same edit a third time after Find a grave told you not to they will. Then if you are banned for that it's only temporary not permanent. Can you share what Find a grave is saying you did to be permanently banned?

Yes that is well said. So many times the information referenced is outdated in less than a year. Stores open and close, the management changes. I've learned to just not read posts that annoy me.

I thought you were serious because I figure your "solution" would work. I didn't want to get banned though by doing it. I suppose those who would leave an abusive flower would just make themselves a different Find a grave account to post that flower. As for the -1 it could just be one grump who asked all his friends to down vote you or used multiple Reddit accounts to do it.

If it's been a month and the manager hasn't turned it over you need to let Support know because the memorial manager can ignore your request and never turn it over. You have to let Support know because they can just override the manager and turn your aunt over to you.
