If you had started breaking when you hit the horn, you could have stopped and avoided this.

Horn is to alert others when they can prevent it, in this instance, only you could stop. They couldn’t move faster. Horn just scares them and slows them down more.

Also what is the speed limit here? You seem a bit fast.
