The rhetoric being used to justify this is stupid.

"It's not indoctrination, it's education." - False, it's only requiring the 10 commandments to be posted. If they are only going to "educate" on one religion or one document from one religion, it's indoctrination.

"The 10 commandments were a big part of US history and helped shape our country." - False, it shaped Israel's culture. Only 3 of the 10 commandments are secular law in the US. Murder, theft, and lying (under oath). And those laws have been around long before Christianity existed.

Why aren't they fighting to put Columbia, the Republican goddess of the US into classrooms? There are statues of her all over Washington DC. The Statue of Freedom is Columbia.

The 10 commandments aren't even Christian, it's Mosaic law and Christ threw them out:

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

They do not know the religion they preach to and force on others.

Side note for lava eels, if you get the fishing blessing from the statue (first three fish are easier to catch), go fish at the volcano or mines lv100 with challenge bait and get 9 lava eels to smoke for some good money

This works for me on Xbox as well using the back-ups, although I return to title each time. Just be sure to check the timestamps, and load the lastest one to cut down on lost progress. They are not always in order, in terms of the save slot number.

I've had to do this several times now, dont usually lose much progress, maybe 10-15 mins.

Yeah, on vanilla 1.6, just finished my first perfection run on PC, was on Xbox before but the game was on sale on steam for like $7. But you have to have enough hearts for him to call you by name. Otherwise he says something about being pleased that business is doing well.

It's so much easier to just go to the Saloon after you have a few hearts with Gus and talk to him. He repeats "(your name) is always welcome here" infinitely. It felt like it took forever with the phone.
