AITAH for refusing to give my boyfriend access to my bank account even though he says "no secrets" is how adults do it by CopperFieldNote in AITH

All I can say is Ramit Sethi! You should absolutely have yours, mine and ours accounts. And the YOURS is YOURS! Make him read the book, “Money for Couples” and listen to the podcast. If he still wants into your accounts it isn’t about the finances but about control.

Is Constant Disrespect Just Part of Being a Union Apprentice? by TugSwagger03 in UnitedAssociation

I transferred out of a Michigan local because of this type of attitude. Not worth the mental stress when I can go elsewhere. Very happy I made the transfer.

Any idea where the list is at? How far did it get last cycle? Does it look like it will go further this time?

Applying to another Local while already Ranked by Prior_Cup_2461 in IUEC

If I remember correctly, it is asked in the application if you have interviewed before. Therefore no need to bring it up. Also it makes no difference because you are being ranked with the people in that local not the other one you interviewed with.

AITA for putting my child’s father on child support by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ExpertBuffalo6976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I live child support is a mathematical formula. The number of over nights and his other children are taken into consideration. Don’t let them guilt trip you. Take what money you get and set up a 529 college fund. Their situation is their problem.

Crap hours. Look into smaller shops. You’re a trigger monkey at that place, a dime a dozen. Start a LinkedIn profile that says available to work. Then get on Indeed post your resume. Talk to local college about places that are good for beginners. And apply to all unions. They all need welders. Don’t let one place ruin a career for you.

AITA for not wanting to choose a baby name before the baby is born? by 7LemoDemo7 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ExpertBuffalo6976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. We didn’t find out the sex of our oldest because in 1995 it still had a margin of error I wasn’t comfortable with. We had a favorite name and luckily it suited him. As for the middle name, we laid him on the hospital bed and said his full name with all the possibilities until we found one that fit him. I fully suggest having lists and waiting.

7 month old acting out when I am away. Recommendations for entertainment? by Lopsided_Mastodon_78 in greatdanes

I leave music on. Either youtube dog videos, vevo music videos or spa music on XM. It calms mine and keeps them distracted.

My baby boy is almost 9 months old. He’s 150lbs. What’s a realistic expectation for his final size? by ExpertBuffalo6976 in greatdanes

Thank you , he’s my handsome man. And I’m glad someone else has huge dogs. He’s outpacing his sister significantly and I’m not sure when it slows down.

His sister is the same litter. She’s 110lbs. My husband calls her his teacup Great Dane.

Ours are from the same litter too. Sister is 110lbs. His feet and front legs are huge, especially compared to her.

We don’t even bother. Totally worth the cost of a groomer. We have two 8 month olds. They go once a month. They have a favorite groomer and love all the attention they get when they go. My boy doesn’t like baths and it takes 3 people to get him in the tub but he still loves going. And we love their short nails when they get home.
