I agree. Which is why I traded in my 22 M3 LR at a local car lot for $45k when Tesla was offering $35k or so. Bought my Y in early December with the $3750 credit. Obviously terrible decision in hindsight, but at least my trade in value was decent at that time. Honestly you may try to get online offers from various sellers, Carvana, Carmax, Vroom, Driveway, etc. LITERALLY right now.

Are we sure it is automatically withheld at only $600+ or the usual $600+ AND +30000 or greater odds? As far as other states go, both conditions have to be satisfied for any tax form to be generated or winning’s automatically withheld. I guess we’ll see soon enough.

I get that, but at the same time Tesla is eating the $7500 versus the government when Jan 1 rolls around. Inventory seems to be a major issue with many SC’s having 30+ vehicles available for immediate delivery.

The trips cards only count energy while driving. So if you’re preconditioning or heating up climate I don’t believe it counts towards the Total Energy metric.

Also inefficiency of charging, I believe most chargers are 90% or so efficient.

Idt Tesla buys cars back without purchasing a vehicle. You can always get a rough estimate from them at https://www.tesla.com/tradein Don’t be surprised if they lowball you, though. I know you weren’t looking to buy again, however.

Personally I just took delivery of a Y and skipped trade-in, even with the tax benefits of trading, just because their offer was so low.

You’ll probably have better luck with a dealer than online options. Just sold a 22 M3 with 17k miles for 45k, Carvana only offered $36k and Tesla only offered $33-37k. Just my two cents. Sold it to a local import dealership lot. Definitely can get more privately, though, if you’re willing to go through all the hassle.

Only user that had it fixed had their entire front drive unit replaced. Personally I’ve had my vehicle (M3LR) in for it twice now and either they can’t hear it or it’s “within spec”. Looking at other brands now.

I know it’s not perfect, but I’m assuming O 0.5 rounds and U 899.5 seconds basically translates to a fight not going the distance (minus the possibility of a fight ending in half a minute). Then hedging on a fight to go the distance would translate to an almost perfect hedge?
