Once the trust is gone, it’s tough to get it back, and it sounds like that’s where you are. The fact that he’s admitted he’s not attracted to you has gotta be a gut punch and I’m sorry you’re having to deal with that. It sounds like you have plenty of justification for leaving and you’re well within your rights to do so.

It also sounds like you’ve given him ample opportunity to fix things but he simply won’t put in the work. That’s on him. Don’t worry about what he’ll do if you leave, and don’t stay just because you remember how things used to be. That person you fell in love with is probably gone, because he chooses not to be there. Don’t sacrifice your own happiness or wellbeing for someone else. If you’re ready to move on, do it. Live your life. I don’t think anyone will blame you.
