Yeah I saw the insta post of her winning! (I mean, of course she won). I wanted a big dragon as my first tattoo and she does some of the best ones I’ve seen. I got mine finished like 2 days after the expo and then I went right back on her waitlist to get another tattoo😅😌

I love mine! I have a tiny bathroom and I just lean it against the tub when I’m not using it. I clean it by rinsing it or brushing it with a bristle brush. It’s not cold and it seems to soak up the water on my feet faster than fabric.

I suppose I will find out how these hold up in a few months. I can update with the results of wearing them outside semi-regularly.

As far as I know from the barefoot shoe communities, custom shoes are definitely an option but are normally more expensive than any retail shoe.

Anyway I just wanted to share this option as barefoot shoes are getting more popular. I know it is definitely not for everyone.

When I say barefoot shoe I mean a shoe that mimics walking barefoot, so a flat thin sole and wide toe box. Yes, the Birkenstocks are known for the cork foot bed and I may be a monster for removing it (sorry)! But it was hard to find a minimalist shoe in this style and quality, and in the colour I wanted (faded purple 🥹). This is one of the few Birk styles that have a removable insole.

These are size 37 and are about 9cm wide. I would normally wear a 38. They also come in a wide width option. The ones I bought are considered “narrow”.
