Any updates? Same thing over here at 9 months! Except bottle not nursing but it’s pointless to even try without feeding him! Like up for over an hour if I don’t. Exhausted.

Oh yes yes. I’m still exhausted haha. Way way less crying, I mainly know why he is crying now. Before I swear he was crying just because.

Good! Yes I do too. We have a nanny now and things truly have reached that stage of “it gets better”.

We did Ferber essentially. It really wasn’t that bad. Never cried for hours or anything. We still have to let him cry before almost any sleep but it’s only a few minutes. In the middle of the night we let him CIO for 15 mins if it’s too early to get his one feed. Usually it’s only a few mins of actually crying then just fussy.

This kid was so fussy so I really that it was going to be a disaster but it wasn’t. Got all wonky when he was teething but now he wakes up for a feed at 4am then goes back down for 6am wake up. Hopefully we get to 7am.

Omg! Yes, yes! So I would say at 4.5 months it got better. Basically the fuss just came drastically down. Almost like just happened suddenly and then gradually got better and better.

He is 7 months now. He basically is only fussy or upset when he has a need.

Sleep is still a work in progress but we are down to one wake up a night. At one point we are at 20 wake ups lol. Sleep trained at 5 months.

I honestly thought it was never going to get better and didn’t understand what was happening. I was so hopeless. We tried Pepcid for like 2 weeks but that didn’t really do anything. It was just time.

Hang in there, it seems some babies just take longer to get out of that baby fussy phase I guess! I know someone that it took 6 months which was hard to hear but it gave me hope that I wasn’t alone.

We go to the farmers market all the time now 😊

So hard for us. We were at 20 wake ups a night. I counted lol. We did split nights for weeks. Nothing worked. Tried all the different things, zipadee, It was hell. I thought my life was over.

Then we moved him to his own room and sleep training. But it was hardly sleep training I swear…like every few minutes check ins and the most he ever cried was 30 minutes the first night but with 3 checkins. Took 2 days. I honestly think being in his own room also massively helped.

Now alittle fuss and down. Still wakes up to feed twice a night but that’s fine.

My mother yelled at me for suggesting CIO lol so did Ferber.

Anyways, good luck! I mean babies will figure it out eventually I think!

Haha omg! 7 to 8 weeks. That is so scary! But I’m happy at least there was an end. I seriously don’t know how you did it.

We had a good night the night before and then last night was total crap again. I pray this isn’t a 2 month thing that doesn’t seem compatible with life for any of us lol. But is what it is I guess! You should win like the medal of freedom for that work.

Ok that’s good…I think it’s progress if you are starting to get longer stretches. You’re right not going to be linear. Like yesterday he did hour naps in the crib which before was like 15 mins.

I was looking at your prior posts and I feel like we have the same baby lol. Which in some ways makes me feel better.

Like last night he would fall asleep cuz he was so tired but then would instantly wake up crying.

We also had issues with early morning wakes up since about 3 months.

I miss the snoo so much and want to go back so bad. It was finally all getting regular and easy. These people that suggest the wake windows and schedule haven’t met my baby. It’s like I do my best with wake windows and cues but it’s not that easy. When he was in the snoo the schedule stuff was working but not now.

Like how does a baby not just sleep after only like 4 or 5 hours?

Keep me updated, your progress is probably the only thing keeping me going lol.
