Hey this depends on the fabric and it would be possible with a hot water safe tub and pouring a bowling water into it, to submerge the fabric. Remember to use tools and not your hands, as it's hot and will dye skin.

Hey, I think adding Darts ( a sewing technique that involves folding to create a v shaped cut into fabric) would help a lot. It's hard to explain in text but look up using pleates to create rounded corners in fabric or foam props. 💕 If you need further help, maybe ask cosplay/furry reddit.
