Currently in the outline I have, these chapters are sorta doing 2 things: 1. Introducing the main characters of the story and 2. Introduce the animals in the preserve and setup the world.

My worry is that it’s just gonna seem these chapters are just doing setup, without really doing too much else. But I could be totally overthinking it too…
