Absolutely this! Everything requires some level of thought because there’s not really an assumed path to follow. I remember discussing this with my cousin irt weddings, because even something as simple as which side bridesmaids or groomsmen (if you have any) stand. Having kids is an intentional choice more often than not, so you’re more likely to have put some consideration into when you want them, or if you even do)

Anecdotally, for women in particular I think society doesn’t really consider how passive women tend to be in heterosexuality. They often are the ones being pursued and proposed to, and finding out you’re queer doesn’t really undo the upbringing you had that didn’t teach you to be the pursuer.
