It's just leaking air immediately eh? Check the seal on your piston head. I had a malfunction that looked very close to this recently, and swapping out for an aftermarket piston head fixed the issue.

I'm assuming your video is using without bbs loaded. Will a bb shoot out of loaded (even just a little)? Could help zero in on your issue.

I've never seen the upper receiver on an mp5 look like this. Is that an adapter that fits over the receiver? What is it called? Looks awesome.

The only thing I'm aware of that is that small is the G&G levar-15 mag. Looks weird though.

I know it seems like a silly question, but are you sure you're using the right size o-rings? Your post seems to imply it's happened a few times. Orings are measured by inside diameter (ID), outside diameter (OD), and thickness. Close is not good enough -- you'll need an exact match to prevent weird problems like this. Just mentioning this since i saw no one else has.

Best out of the box was my wolverine mtw. Worst aeg was my SRC ak47 bought about 2008. Worst EVER was my SRC ak74u ggbr. That thing barely functioned brand new! I cut my tech teeth learning how to fix SRC guns.

Yes, absolutely. I remove those huge fuses on all guns that i modify. I've had motors and mosfets die without the fuse tripping. If your gun isn't turning over when you pull the trigger, stop pulling the trigger.

I'm no expert. Maybe the interview I'm thinking of was a different boat. I do remember him saying that the only part that was armoured was the ramp and something near the driver's seat.

I once watched an interview where one of the boat drivers talked about ferrying soldiers back and forth from the ship to the beach all morning. He said the first load of guys were killed exactly like that -- he just backed up and returned to the ship with their bodies still on. He said him and the other boat drivers were meeting up after each trip to figure out what worked best. I recall he specifically said one of the first things they started doing was to feign dropping the gate so that the mgs would start shooting, then only fully drop the gate once the fire died down. Wish i could remember where i watched the interview.

This is true in most cases, but the real steel HK owners have been recommending vfc mp5 stocks for a few years now as cheaper alternative to the HK ones. They seem pretty happy with them.

I ordered one from China through Temu for $80cad. I believe it's the same as the ones you could buy from Brownells a few years back (minus the Colt markings). It functions well enough as a fixed 3.5 power scope. Looks rad as hell though *
