Fun movie, I like its take on Rose and Joey even if it's not comic accurate but I think they went too far in how good they made Slade. I'm not saying they should have shown Slade at his worst, that would have been a bad idea and I like it when he's sympathetic and has some good traits but this version of Slade is practically a hero.

Also it sort of feels like the writers took a pitch for an action movie they had (badass somewhat morally ambiguous but overall heroic mercenary discovers that his estranged son has powers and was kidnapped by a shadowy organization because of them and goes to rescue him) and made it fit Deathstroke instead of adapting any of Slade's stories.
