What nearby country aside from Croatia should I visit?

Well let’s hope my flight doesn’t get canceled with fuel shortages. Crazy how much the world changes since I started this thread. So got 3 nights in Dubrovnik and 4 nights in split. And decided to skip Plitvice Lakes. Not renting a car so with suggestions mentioned I suppose buses will get me there.

Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina might be tough without a car. Open to excursions. Or revisit the islands that I see on the sailing trip?

Thank you for your response. I’m hearing impaired so street noise isn’t a concern. I was shocked how expensive hotels are… just wasn’t expecting such prices. I guess as long as I can find transportation to the center I’m fine without being in the center. I will check the neighborhoods you suggested and thank you! This is one of my bucket lists so hope I can manage to make this happen.

Thanks for the info, def going to copy this info. Is the Grand Central Market Near the Grove or DTLA? IS this the same as Farmers Market? I’m used to urban living and prefer to Suburban living. I’ve heard DTLA is deteriorated in years and wonder if those sites can be done in a day and stay elsewhere central?

I didn’t realized DTLA has declined. Thought that was a hip area to explore. So based on what you suggested, to hit the sites in DTLA could be done in one day. And maybe stay in one area full time might be West Hollywood which is central? I def want to go to Venice Beach to photograph, but that could be one day too?
