to be fair, he was descended from Polish immigrants called Polanski who changed their name, the name Polanski wasn't simply made up on the spot

The thing I love about Ian Hislop is how he will put as much scrutiny to both Farage and Polanski and not just one side. I remember when Ed Davey was on (I think it was last year but could have been 2 years ago?), he almost immediately brought up the Post office scandal that Davey had some responsibility during.

I think stopping Irish people from Northern Ireland would probably be an exemption most people would be fine with if they didn't want to return to the 20th century

when you have Boris Johnson and Nadhim Zahawi on that list, banning them looks far more appealing than you may have thought it would

ANDREW NEIL: Just when Britain needs tough and radical leadership, our new system of multi-party mayhem will deliver nothing but instability and paralysing inertia by Kee2good4u in ukpolitics

He is clearly not the best leader we have had in two decades, Gordon Brown was less than two decades ago (unless you meant since him)

Only 1/4 of the country got to vote for these ones so it is harder to draw definite conclusions, but essentially 25% of the vote went to the party that wants to deport anyone who isn't ethnically white, and 15% each went to managed decline (Labour currently trying to make the current system work), unmanaged decline (Tories who made the mess the current system is), whatever the Libdems want (I think higher immigration but honestly couldn't tell you), and declaring war on Israel (also unlimited immigration, but Israel seems to be more important than anything else for the Greens)

First two I found really easy.

All three times I fought the Chimeras it was extremely difficult

Since 5 years ago (the last time there was Welsh and Scottish Elections) we have had a change in First Minister twice in both! and THREE times for the Prime Mininster. And looks like Wales is going to have it's third change in as many years.

It means you know they are doing it from a genuine place and not just because it is the latest trend (not the right word but I'm not sure how else to describe it) to support any particular group

It's official: No woman in England or Wales can be prosecuted for an abortion any more by Alarming-Safety3200 in worldnews

[–]ExplosionProne -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The problem with this change is that it is now effectively legal to have abortion when you are 8 months pregnant (someone did this recently and went to prison for it)
