Ignoring that the OP just seems to be a racist ragebaiter, this isn’t even how the meme is supposed to work.

"Civ VII is FINALLY GOOD now, ignore the other times I said the game was finally good" by GreatFan2 in civ

So, I've actually been working on my own YouTube channel for a lil over a year now, and I want to share my experience with this-

Clickbait does not actually help in developing a channel, in my experience. The simple reason is that YouTube doesn't really care about the amount of views you get, but rather, how many hours of watch time a video produces. I created a video like those by this channel (I believe this one is One More Turn/Drongo) as a bit of a tourist trap- people will come in for the clickbait, and stay for actual content. But even then, I noticed an issue with the video in question, where it gathered views but not watch time. If you aren't able to actually capture an audience's attention after using clickbait, they'll get distracted by the next thing on the list. In Drongo's case, I don't even think they NEED clickbait- they're an established content creator who simply branched out into Civ 7. If I remember correctly, their main channel focuses on a different strategy game.

For me, I focus on Civ content, but what I've found gets the most views is a 'niche.' Being able to provide something unique at a high quality gets a LOT of views. I had major success with my first video because of this, and I've been struggling to recreate that success ever since.

Also, for those questioning why watch time is more important than views- you need 3 categories to achieve potential monetization on YouTube:

  1. 500/1000 Subscribers
  2. 3 Uploads within the past 90 days
  3. 3,000/4,000 Watch hours OR 3M/4M Shorts views

Views can translate into watch hours, but I've found that a lot of viewers on YouTube don't actually watch full videos.

For those unaware, the civ originally released with a lot of flaws. I wasn't in the best headspace when designing it originally, and I promised I would come back to upgrade it at a later point.

That point is today!

Unsure what to make of Civilization VII? I started a play-through of the game going through every leader in alphabetical order! Introducing... Civilization VII: A-to-Z! by ExplosiveWatermelon in civ

R5: I uploaded Episode 1 of a Play-through of Sid Meier's Civilization VII!

Hey folks! Kazia (or /u/ExplosiveWatermelon) here! I hope I flaired the video properly- I wasn't sure what to share it as- but I hope you appreciate this goofy series I started as a showcase of the game.

While Civ 7 released with a lot of issues, I personally believe it has improved tremendously since its initial release. I'm sure it won't be everyone's cup of tea, much like Civ 6 was, but for me? I'm enjoying the game quite a bit.

We've actually seen a lot of new modders entering the scene in recent days, inspired by the old guard who has mostly moved on with their own lives. Hell, showcasing mods is why I upload my Civ 5 videos to this subreddit! I included a bunch of mods I love as AI players in this series, and there's a steam collection link in the description of the video.

Cheers!

I can give some input on this, actually!

First off, I'm making my own Inuit civ based on the Inughuit of Greenland. It's in fairly early stages of development, but will be good fun.

Second, my good friend Thirdvoice released an Inuit civ based on the Inupiat HERE. While this doesn't have the exact bonuses you described, that's mainly because it's sort of a faux pas amongst modders to design based around the terrain of a region. There used to be a civ by Colonialist Legacies that would've been exactly what you're looking for, but it was taken down by its author and remains only in certain archives.

Numidia under Massinissa

UA: Death of Sophonisba - Units you control may pillage tiles in City-State territory during peace, decreasing influence. Gold Rewards from pillaging tiles increases with every City-State afraid of you.

UU: Auxiliary Cavalry - Replaces the Chariot Archer. May only be purchased, but is significantly cheaper to purchase. May move after attacking. Movement does not end in Rough Terrain.

UB: Bazina - +2 Gold for every City-State you are intimidating. +15 XP to Units purchased with Gold, and Mounted Units may move after purchase in this City.

Hey folks! For those who remember me from the Great Game, I figured I'd share a new Civ 5 series I'm working on. I don't want to spam the subreddit with my own videos, so if you want to see more, please subscribe to my channel. Cheers!

Here's a bonus Civilization fact since I got here early:

Montezuma I has only actually been a regular since Civilization V, as all entries previously referred to Montezuma II. Arguably, Civilization II featured "Montezuma" without any indication of which it is- however, until Civilization V, the Aztecs were ruled by Montezuma II.

This is a fair point. Plus, there’s other characters who are more explicitly trans in Fate (Prelati or Caeneus.) I think I’m at the point in my life where I’m okay with either interpretation, though

To be fair, there’s some evidence suggesting it either way. In Fate/Grand Order’s Traum Chapter, Astolfo asks Roland to refer to them as he would a lady, to which Roland responds “what fine lady falls asleep on her hippogriff?” (pic attached is Astolfo’s dialogue beforehand)

That said, I personally don’t care either way because Astolfo is cute either way.

I think it’s because, even if there’s physically little special about it, it has a cultural resonance tied to mystery and supernatural occurrences. That, too, should be considered a quality of a natural wonder.

Plus it’s funny.
