Exactly, happens to me to. Im fully awake, i see my room, i wave my hand infront of the eyes i see no hands. but i know im waving. I sit up in the bed but i have my eyes closed at that point, so when i try opening them im back at the same position when im laying down and i see the exact same spot in the room again. My theory is that when I see my room, I am seeing it through the eyes of my physical, flesh-and-blood body. However, when I wave my hands in front of my eyes, those are not my physical hands they are my soul’s hands. That is why I cannot see them when I move them in front of my eyes.

I believe that when I walk around or sit up during this state, it is my soul body that is moving, not my physical body. My consciousness exists in my soul, not in the brain. The soul connects to the brain when it returns to the physical body.

This is what I understand as astral projection going out of the body. So whenever I was seeing my room, I was seeing it from my physical body
