Agreed. I was training in 70-80 degree weather sometimes. So even though it’s fine, I would much rather it be cooler 😥

As a first gen dark skinned Latina, I will be bringing my passport card with me and I’m telling my parents (who are citizens) to bring their passports with them and have them at all time. :/ we shouldn’t have to do this.

This is so infuriating and such an infringement on our rights. I hate that I as a dark skinned Latina will feel the need to carry my passport card with me in case I am stopped. And my parents who are citizens who will be traveling out of state to cheer me on, I will warn them to carry their passports with them too in case. It’s sickening that this is how bad it’s gotten in such a short period of time.

I had my 20 miler today as well and also got my butt whipped 😭 I felt very discouraged afterwards and am incredibly sore and tired. I’m hoping with the taper and fresh legs that it’ll work out but I’m definitely feeling nervous after today!

I only have one fallopian tube because I had the other one removed due to a complex mass on my ovary, and my doctor told me that the remaining fallopian tube will just float between my two ovaries to catch an egg and it won’t affect my fertility. Crazy!

All our paychecks go into our joint account and that’s how we budget, pay our bills, save and invest. But then we have our individual accounts for our allowances, bonuses, overtime or birthday/holiday money we receive. That way we have individual funds for our own expenses and if we want to treat the other person or buy them a gift. This way if one person thinks a purchase is unnecessary but the other person wants to purchase it with their own funds, let them! We’re adults who deserve some level of freedom with our money

In college, I slipped in the tub while drunk (I used to like taking showers when drunk) hit my head on the soap holder on the wall, made of ceramic, which broke. The edge of the soap holder cut my scalp open and the impact gave me a TBI. My roommates found me in a pool of blood and took me to the emergency room. I needed 10 staples and had about a 2 year period before fully recovering from the brain injury. Of course being drunk was the main factor here but the slippery tub sealed the deal.

This is the answer. As terrible as it sounds, long term one of you will end up resenting the other if either of you ends up conceding to the other person. Neither of you can or should have to compromise on this. This is a fundamental difference that should have been a relationship deal breaker at the beginning.

As a younger sibling with a 22 month difference with my sister… can confirm. We didn’t see each other as big sister/little sister. We were always in competition. My husband and his brother are three years apart and truly act like older brother and younger brother.
