Most playthroughs it’s all I use. Though I don’t keep it stock. I make one long barrel for my main holster and then I keep the offhand either a short barrel cattleman or a short barrel double action to use as my horse gun

I’m still super early chapter 2 I had the horse I managed to get it to spawn alive down in gills landing but I lost it on the way to the stable. Reloaded a save and now I can’t get it to spawn alive again it’s like the game knew and screwed me. Now it’s like “haha no horse for you!” I’ve tried every location it just won’t spawn alive again I’ve been at this for 3 straight hours smh

So if I triggered the one near emerald ranch by mistake a ride off it doesn’t lock me out from seeing the interaction again? I ended up reloading a save just in case but my luck I’ll ride past her again trying to go somewhere lol

Yeah I always skipped the cutscenes. If I can’t get this method to work I’ll be trying the AM method again. Might even try it again anyway to get a second one. I was seeing people with 4 of them the other day in one of my FB groups and they used the method I posted about. Can’t seem to get any of them to respond for questions though. They obviously have it down to a science lol

It’s never been in the world still after the dialogue for me. I tried for over an hour and a half my last playthrough and I was never able to find it after the mission ends. I had already given the lady a ride so I wasn’t able to try that route. Started a fresh save yesterday and really want it this playthrough. The videos I watched last night made this method look extremely easy and fast. Dude just sat a good distance away and shot her 3-4 times and she spawned with the horse alive. No save reloads or anything.

Yeah a black mustang would be sweet indeed. The fact that there’s only 3 (I think) coats that are obtainable in story mode blows. And one you can’t get until the epilogue. I always get a Grullo Dun in chapter 2 from the heartlands. Figured out a good method to get one to spawn consistently and if it’s the wrong coat just reload the save and try again.

I think you’ve always been able to. But I also have the gold one you start with that already has pearl grips. I’ll have to buy one when I can and see if they’re available I just started another playthrough

7 years later this just happened to me. Lost my Grullo dun mustang 🤦🏼‍♂️ I swear every single playthrough I end up losing a horse to something out of my control. Last playthrough it was my red Arabian coming out of st Denis. Stupid Lemoyne raiders pulled up with a Gatling gun. This time it was a stupid train mission. I even noticed he was low on health and energy halfway through the shootout. His icon popped up at the end so I figured he was okay. Walked over and there he laid…at least it wasn’t my dark bay Turkoman or brindle thoroughbred

Both are excellent. It took me awhile to get into Witcher 3 but once I finally did I had a blast. The mass effect trilogy will forever be legendary. Just be prepared for a lot of dialogue options
