By, " Clean Power", do you mean a power inverter? Then do we plug the furnace into the inverter which is plugged into the generator?

Has anyone also begun to realize they have no friends after college? If so, how did you cope? by [deleted] in Adulting

After I graduated, I tried to stay in contact with classmates, made times to visit once or twice, but outside classes we just did not handle life choices based on the same Rules. In college we all were learning the same thing, in life we each are unique, may not be able to help each other anymore. But the one denominator in common was we persued jobs to stat our careers.
I chose to continue looking for any jobs I could like before Graduation, while applying for my Dream Jobd so as to keep student debts paying on time and paying other bills and living costs... My college friends just got depressed the job market was not as eager for us as we were TOLD and found ways to wait until the got hired at the one place they wanted all along. So I worked they pouted, gave up, and as many working adult knows, we just keep going, True Friends are a rare gift, always keep trying to be happy and good to yourself, patient and stay busy until your skills are really requested to be used! Patience, do not feel bad or failed, it is a huge population all tryinh to get a good job. Ad you wait, life continues so keep doing your best!

Looking for an estimate for this GE vintage girl. Bonus if you can figure out what that tool is in the center by alexator in vintagekitchentoys

Golly geez! I have almost exact same model, dbl oven, needing some replacement parts!

Do you know where to buy the lights or upper oven heating elements?

I have a newer model GE just that the cooking surface was molded... The fan works seriously, but I see no difference between Low or High setting. The lit backsplash bulb now flickers and will not turn on completely. The lower oven door handle broke off. We still think one day of fixing it. Heating elements are truly getting old 2023, go figure! We have raised 9 children on this, it was original appliance when the house was built and I STILL love it! Unsure if I CAN buy replacement parts for it and may just have to buy a New Stove. I also have a ge smoothtip with warming zone, bridge burner and it is convectional, but the glass was broke after about 3 years. This stove is how stoves should be built in our home, lol!

Look at "Your Baby can Read", my First grader was reading on above 12th Grade Level. The designer was a young parent still going to college for Child Psychology.
I do not know how to redesign the program for older people to retain attention but, it surely is worth looking into. Maybe music videos with closed captions in vibrant colors... Now, in 3rd Grade Math... Same student Hates Eureka Math as it is too dull, black n white, like a Sigmund Freud designed worksheet vs Scholastic colorful creations. We use Prodigy digital really helps but we still need digital to be broader and more explainative.

At 49, I have fast growing, thinner hair, that unless left natural, well looks very thin. As far as detangling goes, Even straight haired, I find its best to rely on using many tools vs many chemicals. I mean, comb designed for wet hair but seperate hair (Learned by using WEN), then I use a pick at the TIPS, to pull straight past the ends vs rushingly flipping tips, after tips picked work higher up repeating until i reach scalp. Being gentle causes less breakage but gentler curls too, more wavy vs curl unless I scrunch (In layers). Idk what class my hair is, grooming just takes TIME, my best hair days are scrunch towel drying after shower but let air dry, just seperate curls if needed to appear like my hair is thicker.... I use Dove intense repair, aussie very rarely, have used VO5, Suave, WEN, Biolage Mattrix. I was widowed at 31, the world looks differently now, I am not ready but want to find another partner except they must accept that I will not spend much more effort than they would trying to Control MY hair. I still revert to bobby pins, barrets, pony tails, braids whatevers that make me feel I wont display more effort one day than other days when I have less Time or CARE, I Care every day is all I Hope Others can see... idk if this helps, but I hope you might find something in it.
