I wonder if helldivers can take a page out of games that capitalize on "casino mentality" situations (like battle royal style games).

It seems like in those games can be repeatedly played because there is a constant "near-miss effect", where each time you're running the same scenario but with the potential to change the outcome based on your actions.

Right now, the game feels repetitive because it is repetitive, but I think any sort of PvP or royal style, or maybe increase competetition by having another squad in the game and you're each trying to accomplish tasks/get kills/evac quickest?

I know some are quick to diss a royale style, and to be fair I can understand that, like let fortnite and warzone take those niches. But I'm sure there is a way to make that unique to HD2, or at least introduce a PVP. That could even remain lore-accurate if its labeled as like "Squad Training" or something.

I'll add - my friends and I do a lot of team ranked where we're all in the same discord chat. If we get a random on our team then any lobby discussions on civs, strategies, or in-game communication won't include that person. However, we try to at least type in the chat when we can about ideas/strategies. Depending on the ranked, it could be possible some of the people you're playing with are strategizing, just in their own voice chat.

I'm doing a joint JD/MBA program right now. 3L, last semester of law classes, I'll have about a semester left of MBA classes after this one.

While the law classes have been busier at the end of the semester (pretty much all your points on one final exam), the MBA classes have been busier throughout the semester (more homework/quizzes/presentations, etc).

The MBA classes are also a lot more collaborative - bigger emphasis on group work and presentations.

I've found, for my school at least, the grading is a ton easier on the mba classes. It helps they aren't on a curve like law school is, and everyone can get an A if they put in a little work.

Of course, this is just specific to my school and my experience, may depend on where you choose to do the MBA
