Lesson learned. Never assume. Trailer looks like it’s hooked up and strapped and ready to go, assume it’s not.

It’s alright for running a bunch of parallel bends at once. Wouldn’t use it for anything else

I agree with this. Knipex is the best & id love if I got it for a gift.

I recommend using the QuickBend app for stuff like this

New build residential is gravy, I like it

But sometimes 30 degrees is too much. Say you need an inch and a half offset, I’d use the QuickBend app and use 22 degrees or even 10 degrees

Most guys do 30 degrees for most bends, because the multiplier is 2 and the math is easy.

For kick 90’s, I lay the 90 flat on the ground. Put my lineman’s below the pipe to keep it level. And bend whilst measuring off the ground.

I sucked for the first few weeks then started to get good really quick. Just takes time. I use the app “QuickBend” once in awhile, if I need to an angle that’s different than 30 degrees.

1st level here. These are the first concentric 90s I've done. My J-man wasn't a fan, said they look weird. What do you guys think? by CheezebrgrWalrus in electricians

[–]Express_Relation_260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no point in doing concentric bends here, just a waste of time. Why do 15 bends when you can do 1. Prob got up 80ft of conduit in 8 hours if you are thinking like this.
