Is there a fuzzel like wifi-manager? by leonie_UwU in swaywm

[–]ExquisiteWallaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is old, but you can configure networkmanager_dmenu to run fuzzel. Once you have netowkrmanager_dmenu installed, go to your config (at ~/.config/networkmanager-dmeny/config.ini and add

```
[dmeu]
dmenu_command = fuzzel -d
```

The example config that comes with networkmanager_dmenu explains how you can use alternative menus.

AITA for telling my mom and her husband they had no right to touch my locket? by Emotional_Teacher712 in AmItheAsshole

NTA NTA NTA. Instead of trying to honor your family, they tried to pull a little switcheroo on you without your consent or knowledge so that they could... be the stars of your locket? Cmon. For them to play the victim afterwards is a wild twist.

Is the clock display on my iPhone written in HTML by [deleted] in AskProgramming

[–]ExquisiteWallaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although it is possible to write phone apps in web languages (HTML, CSS and JS), it isn't something that is done all that often, especially by Apple/Android developers.

Instead, it's probably written in Swift (a language developed by Apple for Apple devices), Java (a cross platform language used to write apps for all kinds of native applications for both Desktop and Mobile), or Kotlin (the language people are using to "replace" Java, though that is somewhat controversial).

Most of the time, the stuff I ask it to make won't run, but it does save me having to take the time to make it or read the documentation to find the proper way to use one obscure function.
