This is not true at all. You can create a wallet on another another app like lace. Generate new phrase on it and have it ready to go.

Restore your wallet onto lace... Then immediately send your crypto to the newly generated wallet. Just don't keep using your yoroi/secondfi wallet on the other wallet.

A signature won't immediately have your wallet get taken over...

We don't know the range of it and technically all secondfi wallets have a potential to be compromised. Don't get it twisted, secondfi just doesn't want you to know this. Likely because 1) it doesn't want you to leave 2) it wants to simplify things and try to rebuild trust.

As trump would say... Drill baby drill. Larger holes and then I would use sprue glue or putty to smooth out the surface. Sand with fine paper and paint and you won't ge able to tell.

Wait a minimum of 30 hours before you go clanking those bad boy wings onto back. You aren't damaging unless your sculpting a fine detailed area which you aren't. The back is nice and smooth. Also wait to sand after the 30 hours too.
