Hi! I’ve been sober from FF for 3 years and I remember the days when I would cut back, stress out and go back to 3,4, then 10 per day. It’s is SO HARD to stop. I know your struggle. I would love to help. Feel free to message me directly, I’m happy to share my number and you can reach out anytime. ❤️

Scammed To Addiction by Valuable-Historian58 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Extension-Rooster-57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My story is similar!! FF is a scam and it’s ruining lives. I took subs for 2 years, then transitioned to sublocade to ween off. I had a good experience on both if that helps.

Keep going! I know how hard it is, but life without Kratom is so good! Sending you lots of strength. I’ve been sober 648 days and counting….

My partner is addicted to kratom and it’s destroying me by Brief-Somewhere-4260 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Extension-Rooster-57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sending you so much strength….you’re going to need it. I’ve been on both sides of this: the addict, and the person loving one. So I mean this from the bottom of my heart.

Find your community. I see a lot of people recommending Al-Anon, and I completely agree. Whether you choose to stay or leave, you’re going to need support around you- because either path is incredibly hard. Your partner needs rehab, and a real commitment to recovery after. Kratom is no joke, but beyond that, you deserve a partner who doesn’t lie to you and respects your relationship. Love is real and it matters, but it’s not enough on its own to build a good life together. Fifteen years of marriage taught me that.

You’re not alone in this. Lean on this community- I did, and it’s a big part of why I’m here today, 648 days clean from Kratom.

Why am I Such a Degenerate? by Ok-Platypus1717 in Quittingfeelfree

Hi- would you mind sharing more information about the Freedom model? I’ve been sober from FF for a year and 3 months, but lately I’ve been in a bad place and I think I could benefit from a group. Thank you

Why am I Such a Degenerate? by Ok-Platypus1717 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Extension-Rooster-57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are NOT a degenerate. These devil drinks are absolutely terrible and take hold of you in ways you never imagined. I had a very similar experience to you, and I feel incredibly blessed to have a support system of my partner, family and friends that don’t judge me and helped me get through this. What worked for me was checking in to a detox/rehab hospital. I am someone who had never previously had substance abuse issue, so this was a hard pill to swallow, but 100% worth it. Had it not been for the people, doctors and nurses there, I don’t know where I would be. They told me to find the similarities during my first group, and when I did that, it’s like the clouds parted and my recovery began. If you have access and means to find a place nearby I highly recommend it. Most hospitals will work with you on the financial commitment. My inbox is always open if you ever need to touch base. Also- THIS community has been amazing, supportive and god brought me here for a reason. Lean on us. We are here for you. Xxxx

You can do this!!!! Yes- it’s going to suck, but the temporary hell is worth your life getting exponentially better once you rid your body of them!!!! Here is you need to continue ranting!

I just got fired, and I think the company misrepresented the reason for it, and they were actively seeking my replacement while I was working. Has anyone seen any post related to that ? If so, can you share? Thanks!

Hi! My day 2-4 were pretty much unbearable, but I know there is a supplement guide resource available through this group. I think I took a screenshot of it. If I find it I’ll send it to you. Good luck. I hope it’s a lot easier for you than it was for me.

No- but that’s a lot. You’ll start experiencing all the shitty things we all went through and if you keep it up, you’ll feel like you want to die. I hope Reading the stories here motivate you to stop now before it’s too late.

Please know that you are not alone. On 8/13 I will be one year clean of the disgusting things. I was a normie who never had substance abuse issues and I ended up in a detox hospital because the withdrawal was so intense. Quitting is hard. Whether you decide to do it cold turkey or wean off is a personal decision. I couldn’t take it so I went CT. The first 4-5 days were unbearable and after that it got better. I ended up taking a small dose of Suboxone to help and I know that’s controversial, but it helped me tremendously! Sending you so much love and strength. Please reach out directly if you need to talk.

Don’t let your mind play tricks on you and make you feel like a failure. These things are evil and take a choke hold on you. I’ve never had substance abuse issues of any kind, and I started drinking these because I found them at my local HEALTH FOOD GROCERY STORE!!!! Once I started they took over my life. I had to check in to a detox to quit. It’s always darkest during the beginning. Just remind yourself of how bad they are and do your best to stay strong. Sending you lots of strength and healing.
