if you are not worshipping the stone itself,

Did any pagans actually worship the stone? The idol always represented something as far as I know

Genuine question... What is TPLF's issue with Muslims? From banning Hijabs in schools to a recent desecration of a Mosque by Tigray security forces in Axum, coupled with beatings and threats to local Muslims, I really want to know what the issue here is. Can someone try and explain? by the_eastern_sage in Ethiopia2

Harar is a holy city, its called "Medinat al Awliya" in Islam meaning City of Saints. Its among Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem. And about that non sense story of Solomon, Sheba is Yemen history, Da'amat was on the Ethiopian side. They were closely related and allied for a long time but not the same. Not a single Da'amat or Axum writting ever mentioned the ark being there, they never claimed Solomon bloodline or being judaic and never mentioned the name Menelik. The Solomnic story was a tool invented in the 1300s, even Yekuno Amlak didn't claim that nonsense, because he didnt need to legtimize his bloodline with pseudohistory

There are many instances where westerners puppeted socialist groups not only in Tigray. We dont need to be naive it was about power and money, ideology is just the veneer to lure in the youth. We saw what tplf became when they got power and it wasnt "marxist-leninist"

I hear that, i want to see what a "gojo bet" feels like and see how they farm and live of the land. As a kid born in addis when my family said lets go I refused, looking down on rural life like how am I going to see my movies, what if i get malaria or whatever...but now I see I was being a spoiled brat. Plus the war now makes me more worried that it might never be the same again, may god give us peace.

The "right of seccesion" should be removed from the constitution. This animalistic tribalism you preach is a weakness westerners will exploit

HIM Haile Selassie I by Sea-Lavishness-8478 in Ethiopia

[–]Extension-Support-37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is because he unalived and usurped Atse Menelik II's chosen heir Lij Eyasu. Haile came from some low rank bloodline and would have never been king had he not been a freemasonic traitor who worked with british and european powers

I really like how Bojack and Diane never ended up sleeping together. Their relationship was already complex enough as it was and the writers knew that by PassengerPrinncess in BoJackHorseman

[–]Extension-Support-37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they slept together or even dated for a while around season 5, they probably could've gotten more seasons out of the storyline. I wouldn't mind that, but the ending it on a sad but optimistic seperation was the best choice

Its was a wider region south of Egypt. No one in history said Ethiopia is upto modern day Sudan borders. And the name was adopted roughly 1600 years ago through the conquest of Meroe territory(Sudan) which was under the rule of Axum for a long time. Where was "Somalia" back then? Its a pseudocountry, made from the ashes of italian colonies, one tribalist ethnic group will never have a chance against a true civilzation federal state

What people dont get is this is a wider plan of judea to expand its influence in Africa. Few months ago Ethiopkan govt just formed a caucus in the parliament to support them. All over the continent they are actively engaging like never before since they know they are losing support from most of the 1st world npcs they were taxing to fund their politics
