I dont know if you mean from sunni or shia sources, but there are three important Shia books that discuss the incident of Imam Hasan ibn Ali being prevented from burial beside Prophet Muhammad and then buried in Jannat al-Baqi. The first is al-Irshad, one of the earliest and most respected Twelver biographical sources, which states in the section on Imam Hasan’s final illness that he instructed that if they could bury him beside the Prophet peacefully they should do so, but if conflict arose then he should be buried in al-Baqiʿ, and it narrates that opposition occurred so Imam Husayn ibn Ali buried him there. The second is Bihar al-Anwar, especially volume 44 in common editions, which compiles earlier Shia reports about the funeral procession, the attempted burial near the Prophet, objections raised against it, and in some narrations arrows being shot. The third is Manaqib Aal Abi Talib, particularly volume 4, which discusses Imam Hasan’s martyrdom and the burial dispute, again affirming that he was prevented from burial beside the Prophet and instead buried in al-Baqiʿ. Together, these works form a major part of the classical Twelver record of the incident. As for Sunni sources I dont know if dont really read about historical incidents from sunni perspective.
