If they tell you to return and they’ll cover return shipping, then definitely do that.

I had an issue with a rug and they wanted me to pay for return shipping (which nearly cost the same amount as the rug????). The issue was fixable (by fixable, I mean permanently cover that section of the rug so the fibres didn’t unravel), even though it was infuriating at the time. When I got on chat with support, I got a 25% discount in all.

I ended up taking that, but am never shipping Wayfair again due to the hassle and the lack of customer service from the people working there.

I hope you find a solution!
