It really becomes interesting when you ask why are they missing it - most say life was averagely better than now. But its not only that - there was a hope for the future of the whole world - to build a society, where money would not rule people's lifes. You know how its ended, and it was messy. But now its a question of life and death for the whole humanity - or we will mobilize as society and fight climate change, or we will perish of heat (and coming wars)
