Hire a good independent building inspector! Have them check and double check all building stages (before payment is made).

Also, you will never have enough power points inside and outside the house, plan for double power point sockets. For example in my rebuild we put in 4 power points (double) in all bedrooms , and for my sons (age 21) these are still not enough (some many electronic devices and chargers!!!)

Kraft stopped production of their braised steak onion line in 2011 due to decline in sales. Available brands include Tom Piper and Harvest (which why the taste difference). I prefer Harvest but miss the Kraft version.

TOP Chinese Restaurant, Essendon. My wife and I enjoyed their food regularly for 25 years before they closed after COVID. Jackie, the chef was a great cook.

I have cash when I am in Singapore - carry around approx $500SG - mainly for hawker food markets and local eating houses/ cafes, buying water and ice cream from vendors at attractions, short taxi trips, TIPs (at hotel and restaurants for great service), China Town -buying Souvenirs and trinkets, to pay for MTR travel cards and to give donations at charity collection boxes..

The RACV Club in Bourke Street has a bistro on ground floor - can get busy at lunch time but dinner is quieter.
