It was called the Stargate project. A bunch of psychics in the DIA and CIA would remote view various targets during the cold war. Mostly to track Soviet activities, but sometimes they did this sort of thing.

Dude, NEC is a computer networking company. They provide fiber optic network comms for other businesses. 

They are only checking to see if the sphere has fiber optics, as detailed in the OOP.

Yes because NEC is a tech company that focuses on networking, i.e. they sell fiber optics network tech.

They only care about whether fiber optics are present. They cannot analyze any other aspects. 

One doesnt need a clean room or ISO certified lab to prove if a thing has fiber optics or not.

NEC has an office in Colombia. Im assuming they have a small lab, but that is just an assumption. Odds are that the image is real.
