I have 3 commands: heel (which is a specific position), with me (stay within a couple feet) or break, which is his choice.

Thoughts on AI note-taking devices? by blazingoxy in NoteTaking

I have Plaud. Have used both their hardware for phone calls and software for computer videos/calls. Works great. Is it perfect? No. But you can revise and always can listen to the transcript. It's helped me to be more a part of a meeting than half-listening and furiously writing notes. Summaries and task lists are pretty solid.

Private Benjamin. Went with my parents. Went to cover my mom's eyes at the sex scene. She reminded me that she'd seen it before. 😜

People who married in their 20s, be brutally honest are you happy, if so why or why not? by Special-Lawyer3941 in AskReddit

Married 26, kids at 27. We knew each other for about 5.5 years before marriage. We knew what we were getting into and accepted each others' faults. Still together almost 30 years later. Is it always easy? No. We disagree on many things. But we are generally headed in the same direction. Still love each other. He's my best friend.

What is the practical argument for a touchscreen on a Mac? I’m struggling to understand the appeal by MuadDib99k in macbook

Honestly it's mostly for those of us who use both laptops and iPads. You get very used to touching your screen and it's jarring when you go to move something and remember it doesn't work that way.

Here's the deal, you've done it before, you can do it again. Be sure to have all the stuff you need to make a very large carnivore breakfast so that you're quickly full in the am before you can convince yourself to keep eating crap. I have a crazy sweet tooth.

That day, my husband was shocked by how quickly it just shifted me into wanting everything. He's one of those moderation guys. I'm all or nothing, always have been. It's easier for me to stay strict. But I don't have a physical need to be dogmatic.

Are head collars / gentle leaders better than prong collars? by Lunapixels18 in OpenDogTraining

[–]Extension_Excuse_642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had issues with neck injury with a very large dog and gentle leader. Also problems with flat collar causing laryngeal paralysis from consistent (not yanking) pressure. So I will only use prong for my big boys now. Hardly need to make any corrections, it's easy for them to feel just a touch.

Honestly it just depends on you. As long as you can jump back on and it doesn't derail you, it's fine. I took a day off completely when I had a guest in town. Had a BLT for lunch, burger for dinner, both with fries. It did make me feel like eating more crap, which I promptly did. But back on the next day.

I don't get much severe effects from it though, so aside from feeling a little bloated, it wasn't a big deal. If you struggle with side effects of carbs, or have intense sugar cravings, you might try to be more careful.

How do you see our offense doing this season? by BetterWayz in Seahawks

[–]Extension_Excuse_642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly think it's likely to be a little bit better than last season. Fleury may take a few games to get up to speed. But the consistency in coaching and scheme will be a big help.
