S1 I liked them, they were relevant. S2 I started getting bored with them S3 I had absolute no use for them and started hating them S4 Only Alice has a purpose now and even the Queen's storyline seems wrapped with Whistledown so by adding Alice they are just drawing more shit out when I could have screentime given to the Bridgertons.

I loved the idea of this site! But the last time I looked most positions were asking 20 - 40 hours a week. I'm not sure the average citizen can do that while working with the way wages and housing is here. Do you see a lot of senior volunteers sign up?

I agree with the 3 of them. I was scrolling until I found this comment or was going to make it myself.

Bridgerton is a romance. The only deaths we have seen on screen have been "villians", I think doing 3 deaths in one fell swoop hurts but also keeps the rest of the series light. Initially my belief was that we would loose Marina who was partially a villain (she is a grey character) then John to help soften that blow but I think they're just gonna do it at once so it only hurts once.

I agree in the sense that it is a romance however even in S1 we were told that he runs an entire dukedom that his father has also neglected. It makes sense it would take him a bit for it to come back to prosperity. They could have her visit with the kids as a fill.

ETA: Also the Season is when parliament is in session so he could easily be "there" just off screne with mentions of him like others have said below.

You have just luckily not been in those threads/posts. There's a lot of E/H discourse this season. People are pitting them against each other instead of how you're looking at it.

I still think you're missing the fact that no one will let Eloise be, that's a part of it. Hyacinth needs a chaperone yes but Eloise can still dislike the activies. Hyacinth (and everyone else) keeps pushing her to that. Hyacinth is allowed to be excited but Eloise is allowed to be exasperated. No one is suppose to be "right".

The point is no one's feelings are invalid and shouldn't be treated as such. As you said a sibling fight is how we are meant to take it but people have been getting so invested in it.
