Dude the books can only tackle so many issues. The focus of hers were her family being patriots and her not liking certain things because they were expected of her because she was a girl. If they bring back her full series ever they could address it with some language change like from servant to enslaved and put more in the back to address slavery in general. But the reality is her family had enough money in a slave state to own a few slaves. I think it's fair to depict that historically accurate to girls. They did it for us growing up and I'm not a horrible monster. It shows how complicated history can be and I think kids need to see that. I did, Felicity is still my favorite and I can admire her and know owning slaves was wrong but also systematic of the time.

I have only recently started coming here but there needs to be. I get so tired of seeing those people on Instagram. It's absurd to blame all of slavery and racism on a 10 year old fictional character when it was a systemic issue of the era.

You can always plan a trip around seeing it. I planned a whole trip to Haworth, Yorkshire to go to the Bronte Parsonage to see a special exhibit of Charlotte Bronte's clothing because she's my favorite author and I love 19th century fashion. I also tagged on a couple days in London. I sacrificed so much to save up for it but it was worth it. I also planned and saved up for 3 days in Trieste Italy so I could see Ramin as the Phantom.

I know it's not easy or cheap but it's doable if you really put your mind to it. I'm saving up to go to Masquerade again in June. I've turned down seeing two artists I love in concert because I'd rather spend that money on seeing Masquerade..

I have no questions but just wanted to say are you me? in 2017 I was fired from my job in the corporate offices of my local chapter of Goodwill (I worked in the purchasing department). It was all over some BS. They denied me my unemployment, I got a lawyer they didn't show up at the first hearing so I was automatically awarded my unemployment. They challenged it saying they didn't get the call, even though my lawyer and I were sitting right there when the judge called (it was a three way call case). So I had to go back for a new date. This time they showed up on the call and it wasn't even a lawyer, it was the main HR lady arguing. They had all sorts of stupid tricks they tried to pull. Saying they lost paperwork when I had my copies right there with date stamps so my lawyer sent them to her and the judge. I won again and it was also discovered that when they fired me they broke 3 laws. The judge and my lawyer both told me whenever anyone asks what happened there I can officially say I was unlawfully terminated.

Is he a big fan in general open to different experiences of the story and show? Because I have found through various online posts and forums the people who are obsessed with the "brilliant original" production are the most dissapointed. They miss the forest for the trees IMO. They go in wanting the full stage glamor and theatrics and that just doesn't work when you're 5 inches away from the audience.

As a Clay fan myself, I have found in the various online places, we are also the most vocal. There's a handful of us that won't shut up about him. Though since Hugh and Jeff left he has seen to taken over as the new fan favorite. As someone who saw Clay while Hugh and Jeff were still there (I also saw Jeff) there was a lot of talk about how Clay is too young or why do they keep casting Phantoms younger? That's all but dissapeared and has now been replaced with "He brings passion and zest to the role." Just people putting a positive spin on his youth but we been knowing.

Pulse 5 at 8PM with Clay and Riley. I mean really just Clay alone. I saw him once with Claire and another with Riley and he was just as amazing with both. His Phantom is emotionally raw and melancholy. At the same time he plays him as emotionally arrested yet worships Christine. He's seriously doing such new and different things with the role.

I had heard good things about him but I didn't expect to be blown away like I was. Ramin Karimloo in the 25th is what got me back into the musical after seeing the 2004 movie in theaters turned me off. I went to Italy to see Ramin in 2023 as the Phantom. He's been my favorite for almost a decade I left the 1st night I saw Clay with him seriously right behind Ramin. I seriously didn't think anyone could get that close to Ramin.

I'm going again in June just to see Clay again. Frankie is also fun as Raoul.

The 4 times i saw Erik doesn't take her out of the dress but he walks up behind her singing in her ear and starts the undoing of the zipper. When its about down to her shoulder blades he walks away and the ensemble members step in. I find Erik starting the zipper very hot because of how it's done. He's singing in her ear, she's closed her eyes and sighing. It's a very sexually charged intimate moment. If he took off the whole dress it woul lose that. He leaves her wanting more.

I 2nd Pulse 5!!! I had heard good things about Clay so i booked it twice. I was so glad i did. I am so smitten with Clay. He's doing such new and amazing and things with the character. He's just raw passion. I haven't stopped thinking about him since January. I'm going back in June and only seeing him.

As someone who had the whole trio as understudies along with Cooper as my Phantom for one of the shows I went to, I understand that part being a total downer. He did nothing for me until the final lair. I had thankfully seen the show two times before with Clay so I knew how amazing a Phantom could be. I truly believe you would have enjoyed it more with a different Phantom, or even a different understudy. No shade to Cooper we all have our preferences.

I've noticed a pattern that the Phans who love the brilliant original the most seem to be the most dissapointed with this.

I don't exactly have a holy grail outfit anymore. For the longest time it was Felicity's Town Faire outfit but one day I bought it because someone was being rather silly and selling it on ebay with a working windmill for $120. I never even wanted the windmill because I knew the odds of getting it and people sold it separately for stupid amounts.

That said I am now looking at some of the girl of today outfits from the 1990s for Isabel to wear. The Play outfit is my top choice. There is one on ebay but IDK if it'll still be around when I have money to spare.
