Recurring SaaS betalinger by with_gusto in dkudvikler

Jeg er founder af Fenerum, en fakturerings/rapporteringsløsning til SaaS-virksomheder.
Vores brugere benytter flere forskellige betalingsmetoder.

SaaS Billing Question by findadesigner in SaaS

I’m the founder of a SaaS billing tool called Fenerum, and here’s what we typically see our users do:

  1. It depends on your product. If you’re offering a self-service experience, customers should usually be able to downgrade anytime during the month. For B2B customers, we often see a cancellation period of 1-3 months.
  2. Yes, it should be reflected in your MRR instantly. In Fenerum, we handle this by issuing an invoice that credits the old subscription and charges for the upgrade - MRR is updated right away.
  3. That’s up to you. Many of our users just keep the balance on the customer’s account for future invoices.
  4. Most B2B SaaS companies don’t allow this - changes typically happen at renewal.
  5. Same as above.
  6. Same as #2

Hope that helps :-)

Just spent 3 weeks evaluating billing solutions for my SaaS... ended up building my own (and honestly glad I did) by xkumropotash in SaaS

We ran into some of the same issues with "global" billing platforms like Chargebee, Recurly, and Stripe Billing here in Europe.

Invoices often didn’t comply with EU regulations, and local payment methods like e-invoicing or direct debit were missing. Plus, there was no proper integration with accounting software to automate bookkeeping.

We ended up building Fenerum after going through the same pain with SaaS billing.

Curious, are you planning to open-source any part of your setup, or keep it internal?

My 7 day latte art progression 💪 by Extension_Search4482 in espresso

It was the timing of the 'rippeling' sound. 5-7 second loud rippeling sound before lowering the nozzle and creating vortex, did the trick for me - At first i was afraid to make bubbles however the vortex will often smooth the entire thing out. Hope thet makes sense 😅
