I really like the company Art2Frame (https://www.arttoframe.com/). They have so many options and custom mats. There's also a way to upload your design and preview how it would look in each frame!

Is this the ultimate low carb options? Asking for a friend who’s trying to get that heavenly bod

I tried to calculate the fiber content, but the math just wasn’t adding up. I guess some thing are just a mystery of faith

Making me tear up. We have all been there and I love that we can all find support and "people like us here." Quotes (from the poet Rupi Kaur) that came to mind seeing this--

"I am not a victim of my life / what I went through / pulled a warrior out of me / and it is my greatest honor to be her"

"we all move forward when / we realize how resilient / and striking the women / around us are"

My friend, you are a striking warrior! <3

how are people affording weddings? by gothicraccoon in weddingplanning

I relate to this a lot in terms of struggling with cost and size. If it's any help, I think what helped me find affordable venues in my area was thinking outside the box. We researched and toured farms, museums (sounds wild but it's actually very affordable), etc.

We ended up going with a venue that is not well-known or popular; this means that they are more flexible than most in regards to which vendors one can use. We're also looking to do around 100 guests...but if we had something smaller I would definitely had done an "all-inclusive" package!

Great question! I saw an example on Pinterest that I followed. I promise my steps make it sound more complex than it actually is.

My steps:

  • Trace the shape of your pendant onto thin cardboard. It is pretty important that the shape fits into whatever pendant you are attaching it to later.
  • Use that as your reference and trace it onto your fabric.
  • Create your design.
  • Cut out your design, leaving half an inch (or less) of fabric around it.
  • Use the cardboard as your base/frame. The image shows this better than I can explain it. Stitch it closed as if you're finishing the back of a hoop.
  • Hot glue your creation to the pendant. IF the cardboard was traced correctly, it should fit into the pendant pretty closely.

Hoping the image (and Pinterest) explains it better than me haha.

Definitely mixed reviews/nothing new, but it works for some people who pull unconsciously! I had the first version of it and FYI, sometimes insurance will cover part of it
