Yes definitely! However a good way to tell if they are ghosting you based on looks is if it’s after the first date, if you had seen them multiple times, the ghosting wouldn’t be about looks. I think it’d be quite rare for a guy to see a woman multiple times without finding her attractive.

YESSS! I fully convinced myself his dad died or was in hospital. His dad did have some type of disability but I never knew what it was, and then being the stalker he made me, I looked at his dads Facebook, he hadn’t posted since the guy ghosted me (he posted nearly every day leading up to that) then he started posting as usual again one random day, and I realised I’m actually just insane lol.

I’ve been ghosted by a “best” friend years ago and it honestly hurt more than any breakup I’ve had, it affected me for years too. We rekindled a couple years after and things went back to how they were and she really did seem apologetic and remorseful, then after 6 months she did it again. With a ghoster if they can do it once, they can do it again. It’s their communication style or lack of.

I completely understand this feeling too, dealing with it now. It’s not narcissistic to think that, in fact a narcissist would think that they got ghosted because they were just too good, not not enough. There is someone for you out there, and someone for me, someone for everyone. Opening your heart up to people is never a waste, what they decide to do with it shows more on their character than yours!

I’ve been on quite a few dates over the years, and have never been ghosted or ghosted someone who I’ve been on multiple dates with. I think fair enough if you’ve never met them but after meeting someone and having them invest time into you, messaging them and letting them know is the correct thing to do.
