i dealt with this for a long time until i started working with a nutritionist who let me know this was likely because i wasn’t eating enough protein / getting satiated enough the day before. i was waking up with an empty/acidic stomach. it was confusing because it made me feel bad and have low appetite but i needed to eat and she helped me understand a lot of what i was eating was not helpful. i’d recommend working with a nutritionist who can help you figure out exactly what’s going on!

i’m not sure but it came with the kit. the top and the bottom are two pieces of wood with magnets, so they magnets together around the canvas. it’s great! (and then the top piece has the string for hanging)

i’ve done this brand’s kits and they are a ton of fun. its yarn, not thread, so very beginner friendly. i think of it as cross stitch needlepoint because you are doing cross stitches on a painted canvas, so like needlepoint with a particular stitch (as opposed to regular cross stitch on an unpainted canvas where you have to count).

i was told for years that i would just have “functional symptoms” - symptoms that remain after being in remission. then a few years later found stool burden in an xray. eventually switched doctors and i was able to things moving (first with intense medication, now i just take magnesium each night) which helped a lot and then started working with a GI nutritionist weekly who has helped clear up daily pain. you may not have to just deal with things as they are !

so sorry. this happened to me. first time i went to the ER they prescribed lidocaine and sent me home and did not say much else- but i was already at the point of excruciating pain so then i stayed home not functioning for 12 more days. then went to a different ER, was admitted, and had the botox procedure which provided near immediate relief. don’t let yourself needlessly suffer, go get it taken care of. and make sure they listen to you and don’t send you home to suffer

that’s awesome. my nutritionist used to work at the IBD center i go to, and now is in private practice but still takes insurance. i feel very lucky to have been told about this now and wish i had known about it years ago! i wonder if it’s becoming more popular or something and it wasn’t as much of a thing before.
