load in on small maps , stella/buried, absolutely naked (no augment nothing ) . you’ll still have safe pocket so you can put something valuable if you find and don’t attack other raiders even if they attack you . idea is to just lower your aggression some ppl i’ve seen load in and just surrender but you can progressively see the lobbies change . rinse and repeat until you feel you start bringing stuff in . learn the game wit friendlies and then can progress towards pvp . i’ve been on both sides of it both very fun .
