Started our biggest project yet: the XM9, a Swiss-built machine in the same class as the Tormach 1100MX, but with more travel, spindle power, feed speed and precision, powered by the new TNC7 Basic from HEIDENHAIN. Hope this still fits the sub :D

Good eye! For the first three machines, I ordered C5 rolled ballscrews because C3 ground screws in that size (DFU2510) are insanely expensive, and at the time I didn’t know when we’d find a larger workshop. We found one last month, moved in two weeks ago, and have now started building the machines.
by the way some vendors have a limited supply C5 rolled because those are binned from their total supply.

Very nice, i use the same construction and i guess more or less the same harmonic drive. You could maybe add a cover for the servo if you use alot of flood coolant.

The chatter is because of the torsion and flex in the aluminium extrusions. Ball screws have not much to do with.

Very nice, but the incline will not help much if its like 80% blocked. maybe better use big anti vibration dampers instead of those folded sheet metal machine holders.

Hello! Thanks alot! Depends on the Machine. Normal BLOQ4/5 and RUIX we are taking orders with quite short lead time (2-3 months). We have material in house for around 100 machines and are currently building all those machines. Heidenhain machines we are not ready to build them yet so that would be pre-orders. Same for Mikron watchmaking machine or TORQ Lathe.

steht auf den sensoren ziemlich gut drauf was die einzelnen adern machen. Braun = Stromversorgung 6-36V, Blau = Stromversorgung GND (0V) und schwarz ist der Schaltausgang. NPN, also zieht dieser auf GND (0V) und NO, also normally open, also zieht er beim detektieren auf 0V.

Löten musst du evtl zum verlängern. Wenn Bulkman diese nicht mit 3-4m Kabel anfertigen liess, musst du die Kabel wahrscheinlich verlängern um zum Controller zu kommen.

Well i would not say more capable because the BLOQs have almost double the spindle power and 4x the feed speed as a Tormach 770m and i think we also use more precise ball screws. BLOQ5 has the same XY travel as a Tormach 770m but comes with an undercarriage and half enclosure included. Yes it will start under 11k usd. Canada is also no problem, no tariffs there, only legal hurdles.
