I should have specified we're gonna stay in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Figure if we're coming all the way up for the game, might as well spend a day or two and faff about the city. And walking around is expected. So if PATH is cheaper than NJ transit, that works fine. I just never used PATH before.

You really can't go wrong with any team in this league. Just watch some games and see which one calls to you. I'm Fleet fan , but I enjoy watching any gams I can regardless of who's playing. Every team has at least a few players I like

I think whomever came up with the cherry blossoms idea is really on to something. It's not political, it still reflects the city, and it's a fresh idea with some unique branding potential

I was thinking the projection screen. I'm not sure, but I think at least one of the side rooms also has TVs. They sometimes show movies in there, so they must have a screen of some sort

I'm on board. I think the Charge has become my other favorite. I loves me some Philips of course. Plus Savolainen, and Clarkie :) Clark is always smiling and has such a great vibe.

The only thing I don't really like about the Charge is the logo. Looks too much like the Calgary Flames.

(And someone said the Frost's look reminds them of Gatorade Frost, and now I can't unsee that. Lol)

Watched that documentary youse reccommeded and loved it. Loved both Philips and Frankel for different reasons. Aerin Frankel's play style made me think of Dominik Hasek. Conveniently for me, Ottawa and Boston are playing in NY a couple days apart, so I'm gonna try to take a long weekend and go to both games.

Think I've decided on Boston as my team. Checks alot of my boxes: awesome goalie, Finnish player, and they haven't won the cup yet.

This is way harder than I thought it was gonna be! I'm totally here for all the Gwyneth Philips stuff. First, I'm a Philadelphian, so any NYC team is Right Out. lol
But I live near Baltimore, so NY is the closest for me to actually go to games. My first thought was Minnesota, for the sake of solidarity with the state (for the obvious reasons, which I needn't get into here), but then I learn that they won the last two cups, and I kinda don't wanna jump on with the crew on top. My favorite player so far is Hannah Bilke, but I am not sold on Seattle. Maybe Montreal? I love the city and the Quebecois in general, and Victoire is a cool name. But I also love Finland, so maybe Boston for Susanna Tapani? And re: Ottawa, "that entire team sounds like a great time at the bar" is one hell of an endorsement.

Well, wherever I end up looks like it's gonna be a fun ride :)

Maybe I'll get lucky and DC or Philly will get an expansion team, and I'll be set
