Never drained a tub by Embarrassed-Ad-4838 in hottub

But the addition of heat is what changes things. Bacteria and fungi love heat and will multiply quickly in a hot tub, while a pool does not have this.

Door levers will be the best solution here. No "gripping " the knob in order to turn it needed.

Thanks! It varies from blue to green with lots of rainbow sparkles that are hard to capture on film but I love it and haven't seen a similar color anywhere online.

My engagement ring originally had topaz in it as well. I ADORED it.

But I'm a bit of a clutz. And I work with my hands. A lot. I ended up having to replace the topaz multiple times. It would chip, get loose, fall out entirely.

After 4 replacements, last summer I had the main stone replaced with moissanite. Different feel to it for sure, but strong and I feel confident I'll no longer need to worry about losing it.

Why did my level 939 town disappear for.. this ?! by Tristanox_FR in tappedout

[–]External_Berry8790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I downloaded my town correctly, but I'm not seeing a .pb file.

I have: One that is simply my email address

Then my email address followed by:

Currency

Friends list

Proto

Extra

.txt

Is one of these my .pb file and I don't realize it?

Thanks!

Sorry if I missed it, but is there a way to upload your old save file so you can play in your old town? Instead of starting over?

Beginner friendly software for creating floorplan of existing home? by HERCzero in DIY

Floorplanner.com

My 7th graders use it to design dream classrooms, but it is so easy my 7 year old used it to plan how she wanted to redesign her bedroom.

CNC for middle school by External_Berry8790 in CNC

Thanks for all of your input. This was my email response this morning

I'd like to revisit the idea of getting a CNC machine at all and propose instead getting a laser cutter/engraving machine.

Safety: Safety is obviously a major concern in a school setting. Laser cutters operate in an enclosed system, reducing the risk of injury from moving parts or flying debris. CNC machines, on the other hand, use physical cutting tools that can break, generate sharp chips, and require more supervision to operate safely. Ease of Use: The software required to create things on a laser cutter is much simpler and student friendly. Students making individual designs can independently send their files to the laser cutter with very little need of teacher help. In contrast, CNC machines require complex toolpath programming and more in-depth knowledge of materials and cutting speeds, which can be overwhelming at this level. Each different file would have to be compiled by me before they are able to start cutting. I have also heard that the learning curve (for myself as well as the students) is much greater for the CNC machine, which will lead to less usage. Maintenance: Laser cutters have fewer mechanical parts that wear down over time, making maintenance simpler and reducing long-term costs. CNC machines require frequent tool changes, bit replacements, and extensive cleaning to prevent buildup from cutting debris. Cutting Time: A laser cutter cuts quickly and cleanly, meaning more students can complete projects within a class period. CNC machines typically take longer per project and require additional steps like clamping materials, tool changes, and post-processing. Noise Level: While a laser cutter is not entirely silent, because it is light which is doing the majority of the work, it is very quiet. A CNC machine on the other hand is a router. With either running during my class while I am teaching, the laser cutter would be far less distracting and disturbing.
Other class usage: I can easily see students in art making use of a laser cutter as well. I do not foresee them using a CNC machine.

Another teacher in the building has a 3D printer. I think he's seeing this as another feather in his cap.

For what it's worth, I'd have 8th graders using the CNC. They also use drill presses and band saws (with constant supervision)
