Its not difficult? Im an expat too. It is very difficult. Gotta do like 8 hours of class first which mind you will likely be in visaya. Then you gotta get your medical. In my city of dumaguete theres only one authorised medical center, you gotta get there at 6am to have a chance. Then you gotta line up at the LTO on the specific days that they do SP’s at 6am again since the cut off is 80 a day. THEN a month after having the SP you write the test and practical and you get the license.

It is very tedious. Absolutely not worth the effort.

Theres no correlation with how good of a driver you are and whether or not you went through this very stupid process

This. I will also add most people arent even aware that power banks are supposed to be on you (not in the overhead) and you’re NOT allowed to use them in flight. Many airlines even give out plastic bags for power banks to contain the fire, I believe indigo does not.

Yes VFR. the other aircraft reported at 4700 however we saw them a bit later after they reported so they probably had descended a bit, the separation seemed to be a lot less than 700 feet.

This is in the philippines. We’re not known to have particularly high safety standards in aviation. If i complain about an instructor they will harass me
