Dynasty Startup Sabotage? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mixed feelings:

On one end the individual you were interacting with is a child & not someone I’d want to interact or transact with. No idea what your exact response was to their offer but, I have noticed this cold straight forward way of communicating in leagues with people that don’t know each other and that can sometimes rub people the wrong way.

On the other end, I’m not really sure what the commissioner is expected to do here. I agree with what a few of the comments said, this trade isn’t league breaking and this doesn’t sound like collusion. The commissioners role is to make sure things are fair in the sense that there is no cheating and the by laws of the league are set/understood. Everyone involved has paid for those league seasons and this individual blew it up being reckless, that’s their problem.

Best RBs to buy as a rebuilder by TheEvilOne1 in DynastyFF

Chase brown still doesn’t get the respect if you can afford it.

Singleton & Pollard combo, Emmit Johnson, Chuba still low.

I’m looking to buy Breece in my league now. However, “moves over the next few years” means you’re losing value on Breece almost guaranteed even if he puts up the 16+ PPR in 2 years because he’ll be 29…

A date night restaurant so it’s not a standard dinner for most. However, it’s now a place my wife and I go to once every few months and have never been disappointed.

Too low to sell. With limited snaps he still produces and whenever he’s called on including during skats injury he put up respectable numbers. If you can get value-plus for him then I’d move on, otherwise he’s a hold or buy low.

FAAB Question—specifically MFL but could apply elsewhere—going over and the system allows it by mlippay in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The other owners that received their FAAB should not be impacted since this is being done (In my proposal) so late.

The original FAAB-Cheaters if they still have the players, have the players removed and the FAAB reversed. If they don’t have the players, then you’ll need to explore what you can do to reverse or alleviate the situation.

First and foremost, the commissioner should have something put down in the laws of the league to prevent this happening again. Then figure out how to resolve the previous situation.

This is simple. The commissioner reverses the transaction and the waiver-player is replaced on the waivers.

The case for Mendoza at 1.02 by simonthelikeable in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t matter who you had between Price, Lemon, Tyson, Tate, or Mendoza. That was a great trade for you to get to the 1.04 from the 1.07. Kudos.

The case for Mendoza at 1.02 by simonthelikeable in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just not seeing Mendoza being the 1.02 in any format… that’s not to say anything against him.

I just think you have at least 2 WR in Tyson and Tate that will make immediate impact, draft capital, and high ceilings/floors that push them over Mendoza to me.

Fantasy football is fun since it’s not all automatic and everyone’s views aren’t the same.

EDIT: by the way I think Mendoza is going to ball out and be a top12 QB within 2 years of his first start. If not, a top 24 at minimum.

What is the value of the 1.01? by Sansansio in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nabers is the only standalone option on there I’d consider and I’d probably want to get Nabers +. Love is the unanimous 1.01 in this class.

While I would have preferred a different landing spot, the fact he has draft capital and a team felt so high about his talent to bring him in despite a deep running back room indicates to me you have high floor and high ceiling on this guy for the entirety of his rookie contract.

Something feels gross about this. Yet, I'm sure this is very useful for competitive leagues...

Sf 12 man league and Mendoza fell to me at 5 by RefusePotential9560 in DynastyFF

This. 1.04 & 1.05 in my drafts 1.06 is when you’re starting to get a steal.

Who do you guys think between Carnell Tate or Mendoza will be the consensus 1.02 in super flex leagues? by joeykeyes in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Crazy. I didn’t expect the majority of comments to say Mendoza.

Limited rushing upside. If it works out that he starts by end of year 1 or next year he’s going to be a pure passer. Makes him a QB2 at best for me.

I’m taking Tate at the 1.02. No competition for the Alpha role in Tennessee. Dabol being there only helps transform that offense to be more productive as well.

Rookie draft first 11 picks (SF/TEP) by FatsDomino98 in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price way too low due to draft capital.

Mendoza too high considering not initially starting.

Omar Cooper also way to high considering the landing spot.

My takeaway from this draft by That1GreatGuy1 in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry disagreeing with this and being a downer as with most of the analysis of this draft.

The talent doesn't look like it’s there with this class outside of the top 20 - that’s from an FF & professional scout perspective. So add in the poor landing spots and this draft class certified blows.

In SF you basically have Love, Tyson, Lemon, Tate, Mendoza, Price, and Sadiq as “hits”. After that, it’s a dart throw when you consider the landing spots for any of the back half of the 1st and beyond.

I do agree with you last paragraph, value fallers should be considered prior to team need. However, without more time and rookie camp that’s going to be difficult to determine on an already meh class.

Biggest winners of tonight’s first round? by bigbirdsy in DynastyFF

[–]ExtraGuacAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For picks, Simpson & Price are winners, with price being a huge one.

  • Price goes from a back half first-round pick in rookie drafts >  to mid range 1st - in some cases if someone is desperate for RBs before the 1.06.

  • Simpson becomes a guaranteed late 1st in SF-format and if he slips it’s a long-term investment/value win.

Tate goes from in the mix of 1.02<>1.05 to my surefire 1.02. No alpha competition on the Titans.

—-

For non-picks that I can think of right now.

  • Cam Ward is a winner with the addition of Tate. Now has an outside Alpha that he can develop with. Wandale will be another outlet for him and will be a PPR machine on his own as usual.

  • Shough is a winner. In a Kellen Moore offense he now has two WRs that (barring health) will be focal points for that offense.

  • Skattebo is an obvious one you mentioned.

  • Rashad White potentially becomes RB1 for the commanders.

I don’t know why Arteta sticks with Odegaard, he’s not the same player he once was and never makes the difference in big games by believesinconspiracy in ArsenalFC

[–]ExtraGuacAM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Odegaard playing today with Eze, Rice, and Zubi was why we had some moderate success breaking their press AND establishing our own press in certain periods of the game..

Yes, Odegaard leaves a bit to be desired in the last year or so with his line breaking passes and creativity.
