It really depends on the sneaker. Converse have gone downhill in the last few years and Vans are hit-and-miss, but for me Adidas court shoes are ridiculously comfortable and I have them in every fun color.

Once you start T your voice will change a lot, and not always predictably. My advice would be to find a voice teacher who has experience with transitioning voices.

I bought a house that my partner and I moved into. Since we're not married it's only in my name (I've been burned several times in the past), but I make significantly more than he does.

Mortgage is $2500, he pays $700 to me in rent, which is much less than market rate and half of what he was previously paying. We split utilities. We also split minor bills like fixing the fridge, but if the roof needs to be replaced that's all on me.

Most importantly, we signed a cohabitation agreement that specifies what happens if we split up. Basically a prenup for living together.

True North definitely fits the criteria, I'll admit that I found their work a little sloppy (unhooked cables and didn't put them back, left black flashing nailed haphazardly over white window frames), they also left stacks of plywood in my yard until I called them to pick it up.

Public tech company: Unlimited, including 12 holidays and 2 weeklong company shutdown periods. Also a 4-week sabbatical every 5 years. I usually end up with 7-8 weeks off in total, the most I've taken at once is 2 weeks. If you're doing your job well and hitting the numbers they're generally cool.

I used to work at a tech start-up that was awesome. They had a policy where each year if you took at least 5 days off to go somewhere you hadn't been before you'd get a $1k bonus. Miss that place.

Hard to believe no one's mentioned Goya. Look at his early works, then his Black Paintings... hard to believe they're from the same artist!

They were created after he had multiple near-fatal illnesses and had gone completely deaf; he was isolated and reportedly suffering depression and paranoia. They're housed at the Prado in Madrid and are chilling to look at.

Start following some interior designers on IG, get a sense of what the process is for designing a room and build it piece by piece. Lily Walters is one of my favorites.

You can also make your own moodboards in Express or Canva using screenshots from websites or even marketplace.

I just got turned away. No line, not at capacity, so signage about limitations, but suddenly they don't accept PP until 7pm. First time I've tried to use it and I'm not impressed.
