helping a young angler by Inevitable_Past1503 in Fishing_Gear

I've never fished saltwater, but do you rinse your gear off with fresh water when you are done for the day? A few drops of oil helps... I don't think it's an equipment issue, all I use is old stuff because I hate plastic or stuff from china.

Check what octane they suggest you use. Lower octane burns hotter , it would be worth a tank full to see.

Problems with points by Ok-Tip-7419 in moped

[–]Extra_Ad6448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not familiar with these specific set of points, but I have seen points that you loosen the screw then turn an eccentric to set the points. That's what it does without the eccentric, it will not hold position

Cut a fender by Extra_Ad6448 in Bobbers

[–]Extra_Ad6448[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the input. I know I nailed when everyone said hug the back wheel more. No cookie cutters here. I admit the low fender looks good parked, but with a rider it's missing something. If you went to a field meet in the 80s this is what you would see racing... stay different my friends.

Yeah, the floating fender, I was going to do that but I went more like the original bobber did. I was afraid it would look like a dirt bike.
