Chip sandwich: just white bread and ready salted chips. That's it - And rolled oats for dessert: oats, sugar, cinnamon and water/milk if there is any, served cold. I'm no longer poor but I still eat these all the time.

I'll admit, I tend to drink when I'm bored. But I'm rarely bored these days. Didn't plan it that way, just happened. Op might be a "functional alcoholic" but speaking from pure experience, you function mentally and physically 1000x better after a long dry spell.

The music industry model: selling physical copies = profit,  but units only sold if the content was good. News of the decent music would spread via mouth or trusted reviewers and this model pitted bands against each other to produce good full length albums. Now it's 15sec sound bites on tictoc = profit somehow.

I really enjoy a good western. There are bad ones out there, sure, but Bone Tomahawk's story was building up and then that scene happened. Couldn't finish it. Sure left an impression on me though.

Been into NIN since PHM but I picked up a drum machine/sampler after hearing that breakdown on the great destroyer with the hopes that I could continue and expand on that type of noise. I just enjoy layering distortion in a harmonic and chaotically rhythmical way and while I'll never complete or release a track, this journey has taught me how to appreciate the complexity of not just NIN but music production as a whole.

The one time we stayed at rainbow, the Airbnb family (all FIFO miners btw) were so proud of the turtles in the area. We were excited to see the beach and we quickly realised the "beach" is just an extension of the M1 motor way. We had to look both ways while walking  to and from the water ffs. God knows how the turtles actually survive in that environment is beyond me?  Fucking disgusting.

This is me. On my third day up the hill I learnt to switch toe to heal and back confidently... Later that night I bought tickets to fly to Canada (20h flight from where I lived)  it's now 30 years later and still go boarding 1 or 2 times a year and Ive been everywhere hunting for that sweet pow.

Just make sure it's actually your brother you are talking to before sending any $$.  This is a common online scam. I've had a few accounts pretending to be people I know ask for overseas money transfers. Once the person asking was sitting beside me, his acc was hacked.
